MGMT have revealed that they will not release any singles from their new LP “Congratulations”.”We’d rather people hear the whole album as an album and see what tracks jump out rather than the ones that get played on the radio – if anything gets played on the radio,” Ben Goldwasseer told NME. They also insist that this new album is completely different from their debut “Oracular Spectacular”. They say their isn’t a “Kids” or “Time To Pretend” on the new album.

“Kids” was my favorite song from the album, so I don’t know why they wouldn’t want to do that again. I respect them for their choice not to release any singles and have people really listen to the entire album. But, I hope people will even want to buy the album without knowing what it sounds like. Tell me what you think.
